LiDAR Surveys on the Laurentians, in 2006-2007

LiDAR surveys conducted in 2006 and 2007 with a high-altitude LiDAR system installed on an aircraft. The surveys covered an area of over 1600 km2 with a LiDAR data vertical accuracy of 5-10 cm in height. The surveys’ point density was 3 to 4 Point/m2. These surveys are commonly used by land surveyors and engineers in the Laurentians region. These surveys allow the production of construction of plans for housing estate projects or perform the cadastral map for a new housing project for example.
